Sheennah Augustin,

Director/Choreographer

Inspired by Janet Jackson's video for "If", Sheennah Augustin has dreamed of becoming a choreographer from a young age.  Her early choreographic experience began in High School, where she choreographed pieces for her Pom team and dance company.  She is currently choreographing competition and recital pieces for a dance studio in Long Island.  She is taking the next step in her career by forming the Sheennah Augustin Dance Company.  SADC provides the opportunity for Sheennah to present her work throughout NYC and for dancers to perform in and around the City.

Madeline Charles

Maddie is ecstatic about being a part of the Sheennah Augustin Dance Company. Hailing from a college in the middle of nowhere, Illinois, and her home in Washington, DC, newcomer Maddie is thrilled by the numerous dance opportunities that New York City has to offer.  While receiving her bachelor’s degree in English Literature she was a member of Cecil Slaughter’s Washington University dance company, The Slaughter Project and performed in and choreographed dances for the Principia College Dance Production for four years. She continued her studies at the David Parsons Summer Intensive and twice attended the Paul Taylor Summer Intensives. She would like to thank her entire family, Sheennah, and Lucille for all their support.
